what pisses me off

I'll tell you what pisses me off. It's already getting goddamn cold here in NJ and it's only the 7th of September. Right now, at 9:20AM its only 69 degrees out. I had to wear a 3/4 sleeved shirt last night. But you wanna know what pisses me off more than the impending winter months (or maybe it just makes me wish I was there)? Right now its 6:21AM in Scottsdale, AZ. The sun has not yet even risen (I don't think), and its already 84 frickin degrees outside. This is so not fair!

Okay, I have to stop ranting and actually get ready for work, since I have to be there by 10. UGH.

What you see as a bad feature of NJ, others of us see as the most appealing thing. The way I see it is, just when you think you couldn't stand another hot humid day, alone come Autumn and Winter. And then, just when you think you couldn't stand another fridged day, here comre Spring and Summer. The best of both worlds.

it's funny you say this lauren... poor phoenix hasn't had many days where their temperature dipped below 100 during the daytime since april or may if i recall proper.

i'm sure they wouldn't mind some drastically cooler weather right about now...

okay, i see both of your points. but here's the thing. i LIKE 100 degree weather. i wish it was like that every day. i really mean it. the other thing is this: i hate winter. i'd take hot and humid every day over a single day of winter. so while you're right that its the best of both worlds for some, living here for me is like the world being only half good, ya know?

Oh this area absolutely blows when it comes to weather, it starts getting grey right about Novemeber, but you don't notice it happening until like Jan 6. Then the depression of the next 3 to 4 mos sets in!
