Last week at this time I was taking a walk in 75 degree weather in downtown Phoenix. Today I'm sitting at home in my pajamas, trying to figure out some way to have a cigarette without anyone finding out considering I can't drive anywhere because there's about a foot and a half of snow on the ground and the roads suck big time. Needless to say, I'd rather be taking that walk in downtown Phoenix again.

I hate the snow. I repeat, I HATE THE SNOW. I had to relieve my car of the pressure of 18 inches bearing down on the roof and windshield last night, not to mention 18 inches piled up on the ground around my car. It was almost completely buried. Now its sitting in the garage b/c my dad's at work. I'm trying to get the rest of the snow to melt off, but apparently that's not working.

On a more exciting note, I may have found a place to live in Arizona. Well, not really. There's this community in Gilbert called Park Place Village that I pretty much can't live in because they're sold out (but they're actually currently selling the models, which we might bid on). But the houses. Oh my God they're so cute. Go to Classic Communities and click on Communities and then Park Place Village and then 803 and 804 if you want to see pictures of the houses. They're minute, but so adorable. They're building another community called Copper Leaf with the same houses in the ghetto. Okay, its not the total ghetto, but its not great. Urban renewal, ya know? There's a trailer park like across the street. And, apropos of nothing, did you know that in Arizona there's a Circle K on practically every corner? Seriously. And they're really not as nice as the ones here. Of course here they've renamed them "Kwik Farms" or some dumb shit like that.

So what else is new? Oh yeah, I've received acceptances from 9 schools now (Pace, Quinnipiac, Pitt, Rutgers-Newark, Rutgers-Camden, ASU, Stetson, Richmond, and Albany). I've been offered a lot of scholarships too. Quinnipiac gave me $25,000 a year, making the tuition something like $4,000/year. Too bad I'm not gonna go there. I would, but they're a 4th Tier school, and I've gotten into a few Tier 1's so I think that's a no brainer. Not that money is no object or something, just that I'm willing to go into debt for an education that I can use to get jobs and stuff, you know? Okay, I think I need to get up off of my ass and take a shower. I haven't showered since Friday. I did take a bath on Saturday, but I didn't wash my hair, so we're talking about me being pretty damn dirty at this point. And clearly, very lazy. Time to stop that. Later.

yep, hopefully moving to phoenix, and the sooner the better. i love the southwest and have grown to truly dislike the northeast, 18 inches of snow not withstanding. if i don't get out of this winter wonderland pretty soon i'm gonna go nuts.
